Changes have been made to the UI IRB SOP and Researcher Guide, the VA Researcher Guide, and the DoD Researcher Guide as a result of the UI Human Research Protection Program reaccreditation review.

The Modernized PRS (PRS Beta) will become the primary website for ClinicalTrials.gov Protocol Registration on August 28, 2024.

The July (monthly) IRB Efficiency Initiative has been canceled. We will resume our regular schedule presentations in August.

The External IRB SOP has been updated.  A track change and clean version can be found on the External/Central IRB Reliance Model page of the HSO website.

The IRB-03 VA Researcher Guide has been updated as a result of a recent VA Office of Research Oversight Audit.  Please review the changes if you conduct research at or with the Iowa City VA Medical Center.
