Come join our team! The Human Subjects Office (HSO) at the University of Iowa is seeking an IRB Full Board Coordinator to provide administrative assistance and regulatory support for the human subjects protection programs and services administered by HSO.

The HSO Education and Outreach team is happy to announce updates that are now live covering HawkIRB and Human Subjects Research basics designed to allow selection specific modules without the sequential requirements of the Student PI training. The training includes 10 modules that are 30 minutes or less. 

HawkIRB and eCOI will be down on Thursday, September 10 for approximately two hours between 9:00 PM-11:00 PM for server maintenance.

HSO will be closed on 8/27-8/28 for a Continuing Education Retreat. We will reopen on Monday, August 31st.

Graduate and undergraduate student principal investigators (PIs) are required to view recorded trainings about the HawkIRB New Project form prior to submitting an application in HawkIRB.
