The next iteration of changes associated with the IRB Efficiency Initiative (EI) were rolled out over the weekend.  IRB-01, IRB-02 and WCG reviews and approvals can now occur prior to any Human Research Protection Program (HRPP) approval.  A HRPP approval will no longer restrict these IRBs from conducting reviews and issuing approval.  HawkIRB will hold release of the project until all HRPP approvals are in place.  To see more on this update, see the IRB EI specific details.  Updates have also been made to the UI IRB Standard Operating Procedures and Researcher Guide to reflect these changes.
