The electronic IRB application system, HawkIRB, has an extremely useful feature that allows Principal Investigators (PIs) to name delegates to operate in the system on their behalf.  Unfortunately, many University of Iowa researchers are unaware of one of the most useful components of the Delegate Permission system, that lets the PI assign delegates to specific research studies.
