UPDATE! Changes with the HawkIRB application and the Clinical Research Unit (CRU)

The IRB is no longer requiring the overall CTSA grant be referenced in the funding source section (Question III.1) of the HawkIRB application or the informed consent document if you are using the Institute for Clinical and Translational Science (ICTS) Clinical Research Coordination Core services, REDCAP, or the Clinical Research Unit (CRU).  As a reminder however, by requesting and using ICTS services you agree to acknowledge the NIH and CTSA grant number UL1RR024979 in any and all publications, presentations, patents, and projects resulting from directly funded research.  Additional information the ICTS and their resources can be found here.

The HSO\IRB will not be requiring modifications for all previously IRB approved studies referencing the CRU in either the consent document or Section III of the HawkIRB application.  This modification will be at the discretion of the Principal Investigator.  If the PI would like to remove this reference, complete and submit a modification to the IRB reflecting these changes.
